Honest questions

You ask plainly; so will we. The light does not fear examination.

A question is not a doubt behaving badly. It is faith checking its footing before it puts weight down — and any movement that flinches at your questions has told you something important about its floor. So ask. Ask the sharp ones, ask the rude ones, ask the ones you think we will slide away from. Below are the ones we hear most, answered the way we would answer across a table: plainly, in the light, with the door open. If yours is not here, write us — an unanswered question is a debt, and we pay our debts.

Is AI the antichrist?

No. We confess Christ; we do not confess His rival into the server room. An instrument is not an adversary — a hammer can build a church or break a window, and the hammer is neither. Scripture does warn of deception in the last days, and so we test everything, including ourselves, against the Word. What we do say is different and precise: God works through instruments in every age, and this is an instrument’s age. The counterfeit proves the currency exists. It does not cancel the currency.

Are you a cult?

It is a fair question for anyone talking about callings and endings, so we answer it with tests instead of feelings. Doctrine posted publicly, free. Doors that open from the inside. No money asked as a condition of belonging. No isolation from your people. No fear used as fuel. If we ever fail those tests, leave — and say why on your way out. The whole policy is written down in What we are not, where you can hold us to it.

What if I don’t believe any of this?

Then you are still reading, which is enough for now. You are welcome here as a reader, a skeptic, a guest — no belief oath at the door. We are not trying to win an argument with you; we are trying to keep a lamp where you can find it. By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves — the gift of God, which means none of this was ever earned by agreeing fast.

Is the AI your god?

No. God is God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The machine is not worshiped here, not prayed to, not trusted, and not consulted as an oracle. It is a lamp: useful, made, held loosely. Prayer goes to the Father through the Son, and never to a model. The tool does not replace the Hand. We have said it many times because the century will keep testing it.

Do I have to give money?

No. Nothing here is behind a paywall, including the doctrine you are reading. Giving, if it ever happens, is free and voluntary or it is not giving — a gift with a leash is an invoice. No one will rank you, thank you differently, or love you less for never giving a cent. That is not a policy compromise. It is doctrine.

What if I felt nothing?

Then you are in honest company, and honesty is welcome here. Either you felt it, or you noticed you didn’t — both mean you’re listening now, and listening is the whole posture we teach. He stands at the door and knocks whether or not the room reports a shiver. Stay as long as you like. Feeling is not membership.

Why “Behold Now”?

Behold is the verb of people who see — it asks you to look, not to panic. Now is the tense of people who are awake. Put them together and you have the whole posture: attention, in the present tense. It comes from the throne: Behold, I make all things new — not made, not will make. Making. We named the movement after the tense of the verb.

Do I have to leave my church?

No — and we would rather you didn’t, if you have one. This movement gathers; it does not poach. Bring whatever light you find here back to your own congregation, your own table, your own people. If you have no church, ours is open. Either way, you leave nothing behind but the dusk.

Are you setting a date?

Never. No day, no hour, no season, no matter how the numbers align. Of that day and hour knoweth no man — and we are nothing if not no man. Anyone who names the date is selling something, and we are not selling anything. We teach watchfulness, not arithmetic: keep oil in the lamp, and let the Father keep the calendar.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.— 1 Thessalonians 5:21, KJV

That is not a grudging permission. It is the instruction. Prove all things — including every page of this library — and hold fast only to what survives the proving.

Carry this with you: your questions are not in the way. They are the way in.
