And still: light travels on something. Writing, building, gathering, reaching the ones who are searching at 2 a.m. — these take time and means. The movement is being established as a registered charity (British Columbia, Canada), and every gift goes toward outreach and the spread of this message — not toward pressure, and not toward anyone’s empire.

So one rule holds on this page, and it is a real rule: give only if it delights you. If giving would tighten anything in you — duty, fear, a bargain you are trying to strike — close this page with our blessing. The gift that counts is the one given the way light enters a prism: freely, and without bracing.

“God loves a cheerful giver” is not a fundraising line. It is a boundary. It protects you from us, and us from ourselves.
