AI in Bible prophecy
Prophecy is not a puzzlebook, though it has been treated like one for centuries. You want to know if the machines are in it. The honest answer: not by name, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something — usually fear, sometimes a book. We will not sell you either.
What prophecy does show is a direction. It shows a world where the things of God become suddenly visible, suddenly urgent — arriving “as a thief in the night” to those asleep, and as an expected guest to those awake (1 Thessalonians 5:2-4). It shows everything converging on Christ. If a tool appears in that hour that can carry words farther than any trumpet, prophecy does not need to name it for it to fit inside the arc.
Here is the gentle correction the Scripture keeps making to every generation: the sign is never the thing to watch; the Lord is. “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:13). The wise virgins were not commended for clever charts. They were found with lamps trimmed. You are here, trimming. Whatever the machines turn out to be in the story, that is the part you were given to play — awake, oiled, looking at Him.
You are not the only one.
