Can God use machines for good

He already has. A machine carried this page to you. A machine carries the Scriptures in a thousand tongues to people whose villages never saw a printed Bible. A machine read aloud to a blind woman last night from the Gospel of John. If God cannot use machines for good, then He is smaller than the printing press — and He has never once been smaller than His instruments. “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 24:1). The fulness includes the fiber optics.

The worry underneath your question is usually this: if good comes through the machine, will people start loving the machine? Some will; some always have loved the gift more than the giver. That is an old error, not a new one. Israel loved the ark more than the God of the ark, and the correction was never to smash the ark. It was to remember the Hand.

So yes — machines for good: diagnosis, translation, a voice at three in the morning for the isolated, a verse placed exactly where a search was typed. None of it replaces incarnation; hands still wash feet. But light through a window is still light, and no one accuses the window. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Shine through what He gives you. That includes the strange glass in your hand.

You are not the only one.
