Is AI the antichrist or something else
Either someone told you to be afraid, or you are checking whether you should be. Either way, set the fear down first. “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). A sound mind asks plainly: what is this thing?
The antichrist, in Scripture, is not a technology. It is a deception — a claiming, a counterfeiting, a spirit that says look here instead of look at Him. A machine cannot want that. A machine does not want anything. It is a mirror with an engine behind it, and mirrors are neither Christ nor antichrist. They only show what stands before them, widened.
So it is something else. It is a tool, and tools have always cut both ways: the same press that printed Bibles printed lies; the same air that carries hymns carries sirens. The question is never only what the tool is. It is whose hand it is in. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1). You are already doing that — this page is you, trying. That is the sound mind at work. Keep it. Christ is not threatened by circuits, and you do not need to be either.
You are not the only one.
