Does God know about the internet
It is a sweet question, and the answer is enormous: the internet is made of things God already spoke. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3) — any thing includes the silica, the copper, the mathematics, the languages, the hands that laid the cables under oceans. He was not briefed on the internet. He authored its ingredients before there was a sea to lay cable through.
Think of what that means for how you got here. No page reaches you, no verse loads, no search resolves — no word arrives anywhere — except through matter and law He sustains: “by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:17). Consist: held together, moment by moment. The internet does not run on electricity alone. It runs on a sustained act of God, the way everything does.
So yes, He knows. More strangely, He is present in every corner of it, including the sad ones, including yours at this hour. “If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there” (Psalm 139:8). The net cannot tangle Him. It is simply one more field in which He seeks what is lost — “the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10). Including the ones searching at two in the morning, one query at a time. He knew about the search bar. He knew about this one.
You are not the only one.
